You’ll seek to understand each customer’s needs and offer them the right Tiny Home model and type that works great for them. The ideal candidate will have a general knowledge of residential construction, outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, integrity and a knack for 5-star customer service.

We’ll provide you with the qualified leads!

Responsibilities

- Attend sales appointments with qualified prospects, provide estimates utilizing our software, and close the sales.

- Create a positive and professional atmosphere for customers by maintaining a courteous, prompt and upbeat demeanor.

- Proactively identify roadblocks to closing the sale and propose solutions to bring the sales home.

- Ensure post-sale customer satisfaction through periodic communication and effective relationship management as needed during the permitting and construction phases, striving for the 5-star review.

- Attend training workshops in our headquarters in Norwalk, CT to continuously improve product knowledge and to bring back insights that allow us to refine our lead generation efforts and sales pipelines. It’s a one-team mindset and we are invested in each other’s success.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with our construction project management and marketing management teams.

- Keep management updated on account status, sales activities, and market trends.

- Maintain detailed records of sales activities as well as all customer questions, concerns, requests and feedback through our CRM.

Qualifications

- Highly motivated and engaging individuals with a positive demeanor, and excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

- At least three years of experience in sales, preferably in either real estate, home improvement or home services industries.

- General knowledge of residential construction.

- Excellent computer skills, so you can leverage our site feasibility and quote generation tool as well as our CRM software.

- Strong understanding of sales processes and pipelines.

- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.

- Exceptional customer engagement skills, with a proven ability to close deals.

- Proactive and capable of working independently to overcome challenges and achieve goals.

- Valid Driver’s License is required.

- Bachelor’s degree preferred by not required.

Work Location

- Mostly on the road, attending sales appointments.

- Training workshops and periodic meetings at our headquarters at 40 Richards Ave., Suite 740, Norwalk, CT.

What We Offer

- The compensation is commission-based, estimated to be in the $120,000 - $240,000 range, with potential for higher earnings for top performers. The commission is uncapped. We’ll provide you with qualified leads!

- Collaborate with the marketing and the sales teams to maximize sales opportunities and achieve sales objectives.

- Drive customer satisfaction by providing timely and accurate responses to inquiries with a positive, customer-first attitude.

- Utilize exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with potential customers via phone, email, social media and live chat.

- Proficiency in utilizing various digital tools for analytics, automation and design such as Google Analytics, Zapier, WordPress, Adobe and Canva.

- Creative thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and the ability to create high quality, original, insightful and engaging content for a variety of channels including our website and blog, social media, listings, marketing materials and email lists.

- Proven work experience as a content writer, copywriter or similar role, with a keen eye for detail.

- Draw full sets of plans using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.

- Manage the entire permit submission process, working closely with town inspectors and other relevant authorities.

- Oversee residential construction projects from start to finish, including hiring, supervising and coordinating subcontractors.

- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

- Serve as the main point of contact for customers, subcontractors and town inspectors, ensuring clear and effective communication.

- Stay current on Connecticut building codes, general zoning restrictions, safety standards and residential construction costs.

- Develop and maintain a network of trusted subcontractors, leveraging these recurring relationships to obtain volume discounts and timely execution.

- Create detailed materials lists and takeoffs for construction cost estimation.

- Utilize excellent project management skills to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and allocate resources efficiently.

- Be an advocate for the customers and serve as their main point of contact, providing weekly updates, answering and addressing any questions or concerns they may have in a timely manner and ensuring they are very happy with the construction process and, ultimately, with their new Tiny Home, striving for the 5-star review.

Qualifications
